MEDL Mobile brings us Boxhead: The Zombie Wars, an iOS incarnation of a popular online flash game by Sean T. Cooper. You play as Jon Bambo, lone gunman against an infinite horde of Zombies. Among your arsenal are 11 different weapons and defensive items ranging from the standby Pistol to the all powerful Airstrike. Boxhead plays like your typical twin stick shooter with a few differences. The major change is you can’t actually shoot in any direction you aren’t facing. Yes, this means it’s not a twin stick shooter, even though it seems to try to be one. The addition of the defensive only items also changes up the game a bit, allowing you to build traps and fortifications against the oncoming horde. In theory, at least.
